Hi, I'm in a new relationship and I'm thinking of moving in with my boyfriend. If I do is it possible for me to rent out my current property and would my boyfriends income be taken into account with my IVA.

Hi there and welcome to the forum, I would talk to your IP about this, you may need to fill in a new income and expenditure sheet and have this reassesed. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Your boyfriend's income should not be taken into account if you are paying him a fixed rent and it is his property. If you are getting a place together and the bills are equally split, again his income is irrelevant.

Thanks for this, it sounds pretty fair as it is my debt and not by boyfrients. Do you have any idea where I stand with regards to being able to rent out my house in the meantime.

Not really a problem provided your IVA payments are not adversely affected. If the rent does not cover the mortgage and you then cannot pay the IVA there may be an issue otherwise it is not that important.

You will have to let your IP know, complete a tax return as a landlord and equity will still have to be released but it is not uncommon. Your IVA seems to be almost over so perhaps if it is an older case there is no equity release modification anyway.
