My local area is free, and I am lucky enough to have a nature reserve behind the house.

I prefer spending money at Christmas - we're not particularly bothered celebrating it but we do enjoy the food and drink. That's what we use our vouchers for.

Bless ya Lyns, we're often in Manchester as that is where all my family are, we're there again on July 11th as son has bought daughter Dance Nation tickets so we'll be staying over and then again on August 7th for my Mum's wedding anniversary.

I will get away one day! I have yet to see what an airport looks like! One of my friends "really" wants to be able to take me to an airport & holiday for the first time - just to be with me on my first experience. And she means it in the kindness of ways! Cos Id probably be a complete nut case of excitement!

I just like the fact i get 4 times more when i use them for a "day out" rather than just in store. Al in all 3 of us will have had 3 different days out at theme parks which would have cost over £200 but just £60 in vouchers........but prob be having beans on toast for wmas dinner....lol
Life is a struggle.......but its all worth it in the end!!!!

I'm a bit long in the tooth for theme parks now, plus it's the cost of petrol getting there and things like food and drink which aren't cheap. We used to take our own sandwiches but it invariably meant a trek back to the car for hubby at lunchtime to fetch it.

Absolutely strapped for cash at the moment.

we have a couple of theme parks near us but so expensive and if like me a chicken and just stand and hold all the coats while everyone else goes on the rides a very dear day out lucky enough son is old enough to go by himself but he's not a lover of them rather go to play football or the driving range which is much cheaper

I used to do all the rides, but not anymore. Too old!

I agree that it is expensive if you don't go on any of the rides.

I'm useless at theme parks- I won't go on any of the rides, I'm a cry baby[:I][:D]

We didn't go to the kite festival afterall, granddaughter said she'd prefer to feed the ducks and go to the park..so thats what we did.[:)]

A cheap morning, but I more than made up for it by having my hair done this afternoon [:D]

I used to love the vast majority of the rides and probably would still go on the odd one or two.

I particularly liked the ones in Florida!

Glad you had a nice morning in the park.
