I'm working next Saturday and the Monday so the weather won't affect me.

Hope it is nice for your BBQ Skip and that hubby manages to get the painting done Lesley.

Keep checking the longrange weather forcast as our hols are coming up and would love some nice weather. Hubby works such long hours and he needs a break and the weather although not the be all and end all does make a holiday.

I am working BH Monday, but I did take my Grand Daughter to Chester Zoo mid week, my Daughter paid 1/2 and my Son chipped in a good few quid as well, just to make sure we both had a great day. Which we certainly did even in the rain

It's my birthday on Monday so am going to brothers for family lunch. Its great fun when the whole family get together and if its your birthday you get to choose the menu. My sister in law is an amazing cook.. it won't do anything for my diet ..but bring it on!!

Next Sunday we're going to the races! It's a treat for hubby's birthday and our anniversary.

Managed to get a " 2 for the price of 1 deal" on the tickets and we have a winning slip from last time to collect. So this day out will be a cheap one and hopefully we'll win some pennies[:)]

There is an excellent garden centre near us just outside of Morpeth called Heighley Gate which has a large kid’s play area, some tables and chairs and a nearby duck pond. I do a packed lunch and we take our 6 and 7 year old there. They play till they are knackered and then we eat. Any leftovers we give to the ducks ( I take some extra bread) [:)]
My thanks to Melanie and her team :)

I take my grandgirls to feed the ducks maxdebt, but I have to take extra bread as the 5 year old eats more than she gives the ducks [:)]

I would just love to be able to retire (I have the countdown on my calendar!) and spend all day at home. Most of the time is spent on the computer so I can indulge myself!
