Hi All

Does anyone know if I am able to be a cheque signatory while in my IVA. We had our AGM and as group chair I have been asked to go on as a signatory. It is a small community group and never has more than a small amount in the bank.

Hi I don't know the answer to this but sure a professional will be along soon to answer and hope it's a positive reply for you, so I'll keep this bumped up.

I really dont think that there's an issue with this.

Hopefully someone will confirm shortly.

The IP would certainly have no problem and I see no reason why the bank would run a credit check. It might be worth ringing the local bank manager for a confidential chat.

There is no problem with you being a cheque signatory under the circumstances you describe.
