Ha anyone dealt with CITIZENS FREE DEBT ADVICE? Is there a way I can check that this company is legit? They have said I can get an IVA even though I have an everyday loan but have spoke to others and read it’s nearly impossible with an everyday loan.
They are wanting a lot of paperwork which is understandable but I’m hesitant to hand it all over
Thanks

Is this the same as Citizens advice bureau?

I would approach several firms, some of the smaller ones are best. Have a look through the forum and see what people recommend.

Whether the Everyday loan will stop you depends on how much that loan is in relation to other debts, so it might go through.

With regards to this particular firm, I have not heard anything about them, nor can I find them online under that name --- but, personally, I would avoid a firm that is trying to look like a recognised charity (CAB). In any even, speak to a few others to compare advice before sending anything off.

I found Citizens Debt Free Advice if that's who you mean.

Looks like a lead generation site, ie, they're just collecting your information to pass on to another firm.

No regulatory information on their site which suggests they're not regulated.

As has already been said, you should definitely have a look round at other firms. Speak to a couple but don't get pressured into anything you're not happy about.

... And actually reading their blurb I doubt they're even based in the UK.

English is certainly not their first language (which in itself is not a problem) -- looks like a Google translation (which indicates a lazy business approach with no eye for detail) !
