Hi, i closed my IVA back in July, i received an email saying Aperture as now been taken over by Jarvis Insolvency.

Jarvis Insolvency has now said any IVA's that closed with Aperture debt prior to September 2020 there are unable to assist.

I have not get received my certificate to say my IVA has been closed.

What do i do the email that Jarvis have gave to get in contact with Aperture does not work and bounces back.

Have you checked on the Insolvency Register whether the IVA has actually been formally completed by the issue of the completion certificate ?

If it was completed then the trust will be being dealt with by Apertures Trust Division at ivatrusts@aperture.uk.com

If it wasn't formally completed then it would have gone to Jarvis at welcome@jarvisiva.co.uk

If your last payment was july, then it is unlikely that the completion certificate had been issued before September as Aperture always took a lot longer than most others to deal with this -- often 6 months.

Hi thank you for the replie

I have check the register and my name is it on it. So am I right in saying it has been completed?

What is the certificate of completion and what do you need it for?

If you are off the Register it will have been completed --- question is, by Aperture or by Jarvis ??

Certificate of completion is the formal end to your IVA ... just a written statement from the IP declaring it finished. Many never need to use it, but, if there is any question later on, it is proof that the IVA was successful and the date it ended.
