Completed IVA and possible inheritance

Iva completed Oct 2018 & have certificate, just recently my husband has heard from family member his cousin passed away last March/April & she lived away it has come to light that my husband is in her Will not sure on how much inheritance due only would it go straight to iva even though completed 7 months ago?

In theory, as the benefactor passed during the IVA the inheritance is an asset of the arrangement, However, not all IPs, it seems will claw back such an inheritance awarded after the IVA has completed. I am assuming that your husband was in the IVA. If it was your IVA alone his finances are his own business and his money is his own.

You could ask your former IP -- but, of course, that would be alerting him or her to the existence of something he or she may never, otherwise, become aware of.
