My very last payment is due on 3rd April as long as Jarvis/Debt Movement don't find a way to change the rules unexpectedly.

Realistically, .......how soon could/should/would I expect receive my Completion Certificate.

I have been with Debt Free Direct, then Aperture, then Jarvis/Debt Movement. Does the Forum have any view about the way Jarvis/Debt Movement behave regarding this.

Thanks for any input.

Steve

In an ideal world I would say 3 months, but you should expect up to 6 months from last payment. A final review will be done and then monies distributed and final report and certificate issued. The final review is to ensure all additional money from final year has been paid across and circumstances not changed at all.

Well done for getting to this point... get ready to be debt free and for the start button to be pushed to reset your life....

Well done Steve! As luluj states, it could be up to six months and of course you have to take into account the current situation at the moment with people working from home.

Thank you both. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for nearer to 3months...... Our current mortgage terminates in 13mths and things may get complicated if there is still an IVA on the records by then.

Gentle reminders now and again can't hurt. Also ask them, specifically, to confirm when they have removed any restriction on the property. You can check a little later, online, with the Land Registry.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I'd give it to July and then start asking on a monthly basis until 6 months, then I would be on their case every week chasing for it.

Am sure you will have it way before your 13 month deadline for mortgage purposes

Just confirm that you cancel your payment after 3rd April.

Thanks for the advice Kallis, I am unsure if they ever realised I was paying by Standing Order not Direct Debit so I will delete the Standing Order on the 1st April ..... please note the date!
