Hi.

So I completed my 6 year IVA in June 😁😁.

I just checked the insolvency register we are still on there.
I checked experian - its gone 😁
Call credit - gone
Equifax - still on there but marked as satisfied.

Am i right in thinking that this wont dissapear from equifax until it disappears off the insolvency register?

Or do I need to contact them and send my completion certificate?

Thanks.

It will ( should!) disappear from the insolvency register "within" three months of the issue of the completion certificate --- often this is actually three months to the day. I would imagine that, by the time you have messed about with sending copies and making your point to the CRA, it will disappear anyway. Being marked as satisfied shows that they at least do know about it.

Incidentally --- if you are checking on the online versions (Creditscore and the like) these can be a month or so behind the real time credit record, so, if a lender searched it might not be there asnyway. To be sure you need to order a Statutory Report, which is in real time and will show you what lenders will see: https://www.equifax.co.uk/Products/cred ... eport.html
