I have an iva that was started the last week in september and i now have a council tax bill of 1078. Which the bailiffs let themselves into my house while i was as work, (the kids had left the door unlocked) can i had this to my iva as i have no way of paying this? They are due back tomorrow.
Often the CT for the tax year the IVA starts is included as a debt, but obviously was not here. Did you know you were in arrears when you started the IVA ? They should have been declared at the time.
You will need to discuss this with your IP, although the bailiffs might not desist at this late stage.
