Hi quick question, my Iva completed on 7.5.19 on my credit file everything has dropped off apart from 3 of my creditors that did not make a claim from my Iva , the default dates are after the start of my Iva . Also my credit score keeps dropping and it says my level of debt has increased since 3 months ago . I don’t have any new debts I don’t have any debt

Credit scores will be all over the place for a good few months yet, especially as the IVA will show until the 6th anniversary.

You can always raise a dispute on your credit record and see if that does any good.

Sally, just to be clear, the defaults are dated last month but relate to debts around the time of your IVA over 6 years ago.

Ok, thanks Sally. Then you have a legitimate right to have the dates corrected to the actual date of default. Otherwise, as you probably already know, these will have a detrimental effect on your credit file for some time to come. Write to the companies involved (you can get the address here https://ico.org.uk/esdwebpages/search) and insist that they deal with it. Technically speaking, if the debts pre-existed at the time of your IVA there's an argument to say that they should be brought into the IVA but I suspect that may be more complicated.

Shaun -- I read it that these creditors were included in the IVA, but simply did not claim a dividend.
Sally -- is this correct ?

Noted. In which case the first part of my latest response will still apply to the extent that the defaults should not post-date the date of the IVA. Once these are corrected they will then disappear from record.
