Credit fix have done an online valuation for my house and say it has equity in it.
I have looked at similar properties on zoopla and it shows there would be no equity or not as much as they say it is worth.
Now they want me to remortgage to cover what?
The equity or what?
I'm very confused.

Have your own valuation done - online ones are not good. Get it in writing and present it to Creditfix.

Argue whether there is enough equity to trigger the release clauses (£5000). If the clauses are triggered you need to attempt to re-mortgage (or, in some cases get a secured loan). If unable to get a lender to agree the IVA will be extended by 12 months.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Get your own valuation carried out by a local estate agent and order a redemption statement from any secured creditors/mortgage providers.

It's unlikely that they will have relied purely on an on-line valuation and cases like yours are normally referred to a third party firm such as ours to conduct independent research. In such a situation we would always be happy to consider any further evidence you are able to provide.
