I have just been chasing my completion certificate and was told that "There’s currently a outstanding creditor refund that I need to resolve before I can send your completion documents"
Can anyone shed any light on this ? Does it mean I am owed money or my practitioner ?
Often this is where a creditor has been overpaid, for various reasons, and the IP has to get this back and will usually re-distribute this between other creditors. Sometimes there is money to be refunded to the debtor, but it will depend on the circumstances of the refund.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Can I just ask how long you have waited as I still haven’t received my completion statement after 3 months? I sent an email chasing but heard nothing back .
It can take up to six months depending on your company.
