....has been set for the 20th August. I should be really excited, which I am, but also really nervous to. It will be great to get this mess sorted.

I've obviously had to much time to think at work today, should'nt have with the amount of work that I have lol, BUT I am worried, as in my income and expenditure form our tax credits have been taken into account. Obviously over 5 years you cannot guarantee the amount that you will receive as circumstances can change, and even the goverment has spoken about stopping the tax credits. What if they get reduced or stopped over this period. Would my IP just go back to the creditors and explain or if we were unable to meet our bills etc.., without that money, would we assume that our IVA would fail.

I am sorry that I am looking at the negatives, but I think all needs to be taken into account.

Thanks again
Sam x

Good news Sam, fingers crossed for you.

I would cross that bridge if and when you come to it.

Yes, it looks as though the government has it in for Tax Credits next year. But your tax code may also change and things may balance out. Who knows, it is still early days.

Been worrying about the same thing myself :)

Hi Imhotep - thanks for your reply. I know that you can carrying on worrying about every single detail, but you need to think realistically what can happen in five years and tax credits is a big worry.
