Hello all,
Well, I've sent all my paperwork (statements and wage slips etc) back to my ip. I've been told that the case will be reviewed on Monday, I believe the next step will be sorting my proposal out.
Just wondering though, I haven't heard much at all from the creditors yet. I've written to them all, and spoken to a couple when they've called. So far, they have all seemed very understanding and said that that they will wait to hear from me. Is this too good to be true?!
What's other people's experience of this? How long before they start becoming more persistant and talking about charging orders etc? Not that I want to be harrased of course!! But I'm worried that before long, they might start changing their tone.
Thanks
x

Mine took about 4 weeks after i had paid the first token payments, i was paying £1 to each creditor each month, somehow they didn't notice until i was about to pay the second token payment, then it was relentless for about 2 weeks, then my IVA kicked in and silence! its been quiet ever since.

Dont worry. I payed them a token payment then was advised not to pay anything, during all this time I made it clear that I would always respond by letter and never by phone. I never got all the horrible phone calls, changed my phone so I could identify who was calling me, got a new mobile and gave that number to my family. I never got stressed by calls and then since my IVA was acepted still dont get any calls.

I made no payments at all to mine. I had the phone calls but just let them go through to the answering machine and never called them back.

Thanks for your replies. Make's me feel better!
I'm not offering them any payments at the moment. I feel like I'm in control of my money for the first time in ages!
I'm really pleased with my I.P so far, so hopefully by the time the proposal is ready, my next payments will be due anyway, and I should escape any harrasment (fingers crossed!)

You should be fine Lou.

Just remember with the call centres, they have no powers at all and just want to get you to pay so they can get commision.
