I have already paid a couple of payments to debt free helpline to manage my debts, but now i have heard of another company that will be able to help me with jy debts, are a tied in with debt free helpline

I presume you are talking about a debt management plan? There are a lot of companies that can help you.

Visit for a list of companies and reviews and you will receive free and impartial advice as to all the options open to you.

Hi Kerry and welcome to the forums.

You are probably in a debt management plan, and if this is the case then you are not tied in at all. You may have already paid fees to the company, which you may be unable to recover.

However I understand that the company mentioned also advertise IVAs, and you should make sure that you are not tied into a legally binding arrangement before acting.

Are you unhappy with the service provided by this company? What have the new company offered that interests you? You should be extremely wary of any advertising, as it rarely gives you a complete picture. Please do as much research as possible before making any decisions.

Which firm have they suggested they refer you to for an IVA?
