Hi there,

I have an iva since November 2018 and been paying £87 a month since then. I logged onto my credit report today and noticed that one of my debts have been removed. The debt was for about £2500 and it has been completely removed despite it being included in the iva. I now owe less according to my credit report. My iva ends in November 2023. My question is now I owe £2000. Will this other debt come back or could I offer a final settlement figure based on what's left to pay?

Whether a debt does or does not show on your credit report means nothing really. It could be that the creditors has simply decided to stop reporting it to them. It could well still be showing on one or more of the other agencies reports. CRSa only show what creditors tell them and not all creditors use them.

Your overall payments to be made to the IVA will not be changed.

Regardless of this you are always free to make a full and final offer to close early, based on the remaining agreed payments left to make.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
