I have posted previously about this but got my deposit for my rent back as moving in with partner and it's £442.00. I was told previously if it's under 500 I don't need to advise my iva company. Do you think I should tell them? Or will i lose it. Don't want to do the wrong thing. Many thanks

I would say to keep it --- it is not a windfall, it is money you have already paid out being returned. Also, if it were to be considered a windfall, assuming you have the usual clauses, it is less than the trigger amount of £500.

I am with credit fix and can't seem to find any clauses. I will be refunded by cheque so will have to go into my bank account.

If a 'windfall' clause is not specifically mentioned in your original IVA proposals/modifications then check your terms and conditions.

Have you got a savings account you could pay it into?
