Disclosing PPI?

My iva was completed over 2yrs ago,but since had letter stating any more monies from ppi are still liable to be paid to them,i have since found out i am due several £k from ppi long before iva started,this was loans paid off several years before iva,am i still entitled to this money or do i have to disclose it ?

Not a black and white answer I am afraid ..... Some IP's have, in the past, disregarded PPI from loans completed well before the IVA started, but that is down to their own personal viewpoints. Yours might be one of those. But, my interpretation is that the money was potentially there, albeit not known about at the time, as an asset during the IVA and would, therefore, fall due to your creditors. As such, it should be declared to your former IP.

What might happen if it was not declared is all uncharted territory.

Not trying to be a bad influence but I'm struggling to see how they would find out unless you tell them.

On the face of it, this is a fair point, unless they get in a PPI claims search before the end of August and discover the payout as a result of that. They have, as far as I am aware, no right to see any financial information ( bank statements etc.) after completion has taken place, unless a fraud investigation is launched.

Trouble is: worms do have a habit of coming out of the woodwork !

Thnx for advice company dealing with this was sold off all debtors were contacted by them and they got all ppi money,this was diff bank not involved in iva,i think i hold onto it until end aug then have a nice holiday,last 2yrs of iva i struggled,i presumed it was finisheduntil this showed up,thnx for help i take my chance they cant get blood out of a stone when i spend it
