Hi. I was fully discharged from a 6 yr IVA in 2016. The IVA company claimed back alot of PPI, and then wrote to me.a year ago and several letters since asking me to sign letters of authority to enable them to claim more PPI. Do I have to comply given I'm discharged? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
This is not easy to answer being new, uncharted, territory. Any remaining PPI does belong to the creditors, as recently confirmed in the courts and you are expected to comply with realising any claims. What the IP can do about it is open to debate --- or what he / she is willing to do about it. In theory it is non-compliance and could, given the right circumstances, see the IVA rescinded --- but whether it would ever come to that and whether it would be allowed is an unknown.
At the end of the day the PPI refunds, if any, are not yours to claim, you have nothing to lose by simply signing the authorisations.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Save yourself any hassle and constantly being bombarded with letters and emails and sign the forms. You are not going to see a penny of the money and to be honest who wants to be pestered every couple of weeks or so.
