You do have to try ---it is highly likely that you will be unable to be accepted. Refusal to try can be regarded as a breach.past a few IP's have been aware of the futility of trying and accepted the extesion as inevitable, thus allowing only lipsrvice eaid to the atempt to remortgage. However, the moremarket is ever changing, as I say, although highly unlikely that you will get a remortgage, it has been done.

Yes your terms probably state you need to attempt and it is highly unlikely that you will be able to.
Ask your IP what evidence they require to satisfy themselves it is not possible for you to remortgage.
