No --- the IVA's will need to be seperated first then you can cancel yours and the other will continue on it's own terms. However, that might not be the best thing for you, as your debts will then become collectible and you will also become responsible for paying any joint debts.

How long have you been in your IVA and do you want to continue to pay yours? Have a word with your IP.

Are you both in interlocking IVAs?

Can you give me a bit more information please so I can answer your query?

Have you already set up an IVA?

If so you will not be able to cancel it, only terminate/fail it unsuccessful (without a variation) which will put you back to square one again.

It sounds as though are interlocking. Hopefully the OP can confirm and also whether Cara can continue on her own.
