Do your employers find out about the IVA?

if you have gone for the option of iva , do they have to contact your employer
and tell them you have taken out an IVA

Only if your employer is a creditor, otherwise they are not brought into it. However, your details will be placed on a public register, but many do not know of it's existence unless they are in the industry or in a solution themselves.
