We have had a few forum members who have student loans -- hopefully some of them will see this and share their experiences.
I imagine ( and am only guessing here) that it would affect the repayments in so far as it would be used and counted as income. In some part this could be mitigated by increases in allowances for, say, books and research materials.
Hang in there for some more helpful replies.
