Does my husband have to agree a remortgage clause if I do an iva?

Im.looking at doing a iva but my husband wont sign anything that shows i will be enforced to remortgage tge house will i be asked to, he blankly refuses to

You are unlikely to be able to remortgage but may have to take out a secured loan if you have enough equity. There will be a restriction on your property so you can't sell without the IP's permission. He may well have to sign a form RX1 to go to Land Registry. Speak to several companies for some more specific advice.

It is, sometimes, possible to re-work the proposal, leaving out the property and the equity issue, but you will have to mitigate this by adding one or more years to the term of the IVA ..... and then, only if the creditors agree. You might need to shop around to find an IP who will consider this.
