I currently work for the NHS and we have been adviced today that our group could be getting de-banded, which could lead to a pay drop of 3000 a year. How do we stand with the IVA? As that is nearly our yearly payments. Everything has been going so well so far and would hate for this to make the plan fail. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi
Speak with your IP and discuss options available to you both. Do you think that your tax credits might increase due to income drop ?

60 quid a week is a fair amount to lose Struzzo. I`m going to be losing very nearly £170 gross (yes,£170) a week from my wage in about nine months time but luckily was able to structure it into my IVA proposal and step my payment schedule accordingly.
Maybe your IP will be able to make some sort of similar arrangement if you can send in written confirmation of your impending situation from your employer. It`s not something that`s your fault and it seems salary cuts are definately on the increase, so I reckon this type of problem is going to become quite prominent.

I hope that doesn't happen.

You will have to run it past your IP but I'm sure something can be sorted out.

Heres hoping so. The joys of the NHS!! Wow goosed thats alot to lose. Will have to look into the tax credits. Its all up in the air at min. Hopefully wont go forward but its scary!! and if it does , we'll just face it together like all the other problems we've overcome and hopefully payplan can be of some assistance.
