I am wanting to go into Full time education and will need to take out student finance to help with this. I have been on an Iva since March 2018. I do have a partner and we are on a joint Iva. He will still be working full time but I will be unable to work due to the nature of the course.
What is the stance on this?

Much will depend on whether your husband can support the interlocking IVA's on his income alone. There is scope for payments to be reviewed, but only within limits. You really need to discuss this with your IP before committing to anything.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

You will not be in a joint IVA, it will be interlocking.

If you are unable to make any contributions you could be at risk of failing your IVA, unless creditors agree to a variation.

The IVAs may need to become unlocked so that your husband can carry on his alone.

I doubt you will be able to get a loan due to the IVA status.
