Ex wife's IVA

Would a solicitor advise a Iva in financial/divorce proceedings? Also I thought my ex wife had taken her name of our joint bank account as agreed to my shock she had not and it has now been shut down due to the Iva will this affect me

It would already have affected you as it was a joint account.

Even if a solicitor advised it you it would be an Insolvency Practitioner who would check this out.

I take it your ex wife is in an IVA?

Unless you have already done so, you will need to take out a new bank account.

If she has debts she can no longer support it is prudent advice to seek qualified assistance.
