I am currently on an IVA through Hanover Insolvency, plan was accepted March 2018, so far so good. However I have recently received a letter of enforcement for a penalty charge notice dated Dec 2017. Amount owed now stands at £423, for £70 parking charge I thought was covered. What can I do? I'm so worried as no spare cash at all due to plan.

Was this notice issued by the courts (Penalty Charge) or is it issued by a parking firm (Parking Charge) ? Was your IP informed of it and is it listed in your IVA ?

If issued by the police or local authority it cannot be covered by the IVA, but should have been allowed in your agreed expenses as a priority debt. If issued by a parking firm it can be included, along with other debts.

As Foggy says - where has this notice come from? It seems a long time ago now?
