Hi

Just bit of an update after keeping quiet about my IVA for over 2 years causing me a lot of stress. Family members had found out about it and have offered there support in getting me out of it. My parent will be the 3rd party donor and has managed to increase the f&f to £8900. Total outstanding to date is approx £9600 I'm not sure on the exact figure.

I shall be calling my IVA supervisor tomorrow and discuss with them direct.

Hi all

Just an update I've recently had my I&E and my payments have increased slightly total outstanding for f&f now is roughly 11600 as calculated by FJ. As discussed with them so 3rd party has now offered £10,000 for f&f. Do you think this would be accepted? Total debt was around 28K..FJ timescale for variation is between 4 to 8 weeks. Thanks

Sounds like a decent offer to me. Discuss it with FJ and make sure they know the money is only available for a full and final and will be withdrawn if not accepted.

These things can never be second guessed, but it sounds like a reasonable offer to me.

Depends on the IP, but I would have thought so.

FJ had said a screenshot of their bank would be ok but that wont show their name so they have mini statement. They have also blanked off things which are private it just showing the offer there FJ said this was ok

F&F submitted today via email should hear back on friday if anything else is required. If not upto 27th August for response from FJ.

PTD: 5000 roughly
Overtime owed: 330 roughly
Iva original proposal: 13000 roughly
F&F offer: 10600

So I'm offering almost 2k more than my creditors were expecting based on outstanding payments of 216 x 16 then 424 x 17 months. FJ advisor said he thinks it very likely to be accepted.

Fingers crossed just a waiting game now.

I'm not sure advisor told me they won't respond to email until Friday due to backlog. He said it takes between 6 to 8 weeks so I'm not sure of that's the whole process including creditor meeting aswell. I had made a clause in my letter anyway about deductions
