Finally, the date has been set for my variance meeting and hopefully my F&F will be accepted. 29th July at midday is when it is. The nerves will be unbearable...............

Thanks everyone for your support, I will hopefully get my certificate of completion soon. I just have a few questions to ask:
1. can i upgrade my bank account from a basic one to a current one
2. When i took out the IVA I was well aware that the IVA will stay on your credit file for a further year after the original 5. Is this still the case or will it remain on credit file for just a year from my F&F being accepted.
3. Should i forward copies of my certificate to credit reference agencies for them to update their records.

Sorry for the bombardment of Q's.........

It will be on your record for six years in total.

Check to see if any creditors have defaulted you after your initial acceptance. If they have then send a copy of your completion letter and tell them to remove it.

The CRAs won't alter things for you.

You can try the bank accounts, not sure whether or not you get an upgrade or not.

Sometimes an upgrade can be obtained from your existing bank as they can see how you conduct your account, I've had two with the Natwest since starting during a review with them. I can only assume they've never credit checked me or I would never pass being in an IVA x
