I had an IVA which failed back in Aug 2016 with Debt Free Direct. Was not aware they had collapsed. The Solvency register was not advised and I did not recieve the termination paperwork. So have now got in touch with Aperture who have now provided me with the Termination statement and I have forwarded to the solvency register and it has been updated . But now Aperture refuse to remove from Land Registry and advising that the trust will not release yet? Can they do this, on land registry it is Debt Free Direct no one contacted in over 2 years and now they are advise me that the trust is still in place even after the IVA failed over 2 years ago

As far as I am aware it should be removed as you are no longer in your IVA - keep badgering to get it removed.

Technically the trust survives -- but is usually severed by termination. What has happened to your debts in the meantime?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Currently they are all outstanding but some have already passed the limitation Act. No credits have chased me since the IVA failed in Aug 2016
