because i have spent some money !!!!! I am going on jury duty next week and just did not have any clothes !! I have lost a stone and a half in the last couple of months, (im one of those whose throat closes up when stressed )so I have been wearing my 21 year old daughters cast offs, but i dont think combats, jeans and slogan t-shirts are the way to go here [:I][:I] Not spent a lot but it still feels all wrong, oh needed shoes too, i only have crocs ugg boots and walking boots and one pair of heels that only come out it they really really need to [V] I wear a uniform for work, castoffs at home as all i ever seem to do is work and walk dogs [:(][:(] [:(]
Hmmm feel a bit better now i have rambled....[:o)] x

Don't worry about it we ALL do that. Spending money on stuff you see as not vital makes you feel bad lol.

I remember when my more susccessful but less good looking younger brother was visiting me in Leeds [;)]

He was taking me to a Leeds game to sit in the corporate seats his firm has (We had a 3 course meal as well) and I was fretting for 10 mins in the shop about paying £6 for a Leeds Utd mug for work as a little reward for myself for being good with money now lol.

I did buy it but felt really guilty [:(]

It sounds like you needed these clothes though so you can feel no guilt!

Enjoy Jury service, I did it at 18 and loved it!

I'm pleased I feel a bit guilty about spending as it makes me better with money, not having he guilt is what made me spend, spend, spend lol.

Hi ScaredykatI am just behind you in my iva journey and am practising budgeting this month before the real world kicks in. I am feeling guilty about spending £6 on a pair of leggings from ASDA that I really did not need!!

Don't feel guilty at all.

We all need clothes - I'm looking for a new suit for occasional work time (I wear a uniform most of the time) and I'm searching round everywhere rather than buying the first thing I come across.

My home clothes are the cheapest leggings I can find, and daughters cast offs!

Tesco are doing a suit and blouse for £35 at the moment. You could always try Ebay as well.

Asda's suits are chronic at the moment. They had one last week when I looked.
