Sorry about that Lesley.

We've paid £43, not upfront and can cancel anytime.

It is going ahead. The conference room is booked and the deposit paid by Mel.

Breakfast is £6.95 extra each on top of the room.

It's a definite. Helen has booked, we have. Tracey has and I believe Mr and Mrs Orange have. Missy80 is coming. Andy and Bev, Mel and I believe Mel N and Tina are coming. I think I have about 25 on the list at the moment.

It'll be good to see everyone again. I paid the extra as we won't know what we're doing until probably the week before.

We're having a Christmas party at work but I'm pretty sure I'm not going - as nice as everyone is there's no 'team' here any more and I can't be bothered.

Same here - I never go to my works Christmas do. Much as I like the people I work with it all seems to be geared round getting as drunk as you can, as quickly as you can and then being exceedingly ill in the gutter afterwards - not my scene!

Last year one of the girls tripped up, knocked one of the other girls over and she ended up in hospital having stitches in her chin - and they thought it was funny!

Same here Jan and I'm just not interested any more. I've never been that bothered by the Christmas party anyway.

To be honest I really like the people I work with, but I'm not too worried about socialising with them as well! Some of them go out socially, but thankfully they've stopped inviting me now!

Where I used to work I loved them, and used to organise them. Always an afternoon do and then those that wanted to go to the pub afterwards did so. We all had a good time without going stupid.

I've enjoyed it when we've gone for a meal straight from work, but actual parties don't bother me. We're such a small company we usually end up at one of those marquee parties with loads of people I don't know and cold, horrible food!

Last time I drove and I was looked at as though I was mad!

We used to do an afternoon meal/disco at a local hotel and it was great.

Nowadays they do a meal (which I couldn't eat all of anyway) followed by a pub that you have to pay to get into and it's miles away from where I live.

I'd rather save my money to be honest.
