Hi Advice please.

I'm applying for a new job , the employer has pre employment screening... and the dreaded question is there.... have i EVER had bankruptcy/iva etc..... ?
I am clear now 6 years since agreement - nothing showing on insolvency register or the main credit agencies.... What do i say? This is a fairly senior role and i fear for my chances if i declare it ......
Thought i was done with all this

Thanks

The problem is with that word "ever" --- the answer is, of course, yes ! As you say, it does not show on the credit files or register -- but I am sceptical about archived records lurking somewhere !!

First your own moral compass will decide whether you say yes or no -- then it will fall to whether they already know themselves and what they think if the answers conflict.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
