Hi does anyone know if a basic flex account allows me to do online purchases? Also will I be able to receive family help from abroad into a basic flex account? What about the account number , will it change as well in the downgrading account process? Can you please answer my questions? I'm quite worried . The whole thing is daunting. It would be good to keep the flex account I have at the moment , I don't have overdraft facilities on it, I just registered with online banking and this is very useful particularly to keep an eye on expenses, I suppose if the account is downgraded I will lose the online banking as well. You will need to ask the bank what their account will accomodate. When we had basic cashminder accounts with the co-op we had full online banking, foreign transactions and the ability to purchase online with no problem.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
