The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

Even if the account is getting close? I might wait and see if Lloyd’s will offer me the basic account tomorrow then look to open another account if they don’t offer me one, what happens to the loan I owe Lloyd’s if I change accounts I’ve never missed a payment with them so they shouldn’t take any money out my account should they?
Try Co-op as they are very good with a basic account and I would do that sooner rather than later.

Hi I’ve managed to set up direct debits with my other creditors but Lloyd’s have took my loan into a debt collections agency I’ve never missed a payment so I don’t know why could it be because they found out about the Iva I applied for? Plus I rang the debt collections and they said I should wait for a letter which takes 65 days why does it take this long?
All I can think on the length of time it takes to issue letters is that the collections agancy work on pre-set (proabably automated) cycles, in the same way as credit card companies do. When a letter comes out depends on when the button was pressed in the current cycle.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
Lloyd's have clearly acted believing iva was going ahead.... now its not they should unfreeze all your accounts and release any monies held. Unfortunately the different departments in Lloyd's do not talk to each other so it may take time and patience to unpick this and get them to accept the iva is not going ahead and that you can manage your repayments....
Lloyds may decide that the fact you were going to enter a iva is enough for them to cast some doubt going forward about your financial stability and no doubt there is a small clause in the terms and conditions of holding an account with them that mentions accounts will be frozen or closed should a iva or bankruptcy occur.
Definitely make arrangements for a basic account elsewhere and move your salary payment and direct debits immediately.
