I would like to know why my forum status has gone back to a novice, i admit i havent been on here for a while, but back to novice i cant underestand.

Ian, my guess is that it is to do with the number of posts per day. Since you say you haven't posted in a while then your number of post per day would be lower...i don't know though, I'm only guessing really!

What does it matter?? It's not about being the 'expert' it's about being able to offer support and advice to your fellow posters!

It's nothing to do with the amount of posts you make per day, the status goes on the total number of posts you have made.

What status did you have before? On that number of posts you would have gone from new poster to novice. I presume you weren't down as an expert,

I wouldn't worry about it. As toolbox says, it's not about your status, it's the help and support you give that counts.
