We are very proud actually. He's never been around so many strangers in a small place.....and actually spoke and made some physical contact. I must say, everyone was very understanding of his Autism and made him feel really welcome.
Dave is his new best friend he said.
AND......there wasnt too many naughty words although i thought Mel would choke with laughter when the middle finger came out [:I]

I really enjoyed it too Lisa and Skegness is on, I'm even going to tell Granddaughter so she won't let me forget and she'll be good with Billy who is a lovely boy. He had me in stitches several times! x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
I've spoken to Mel about it possibly being FF the following week but she has to check her diary and will get back to me about it.

Not sure we'd be able to make Christmas, as much as I would love to, as getting four children looked after is no mean feat let me tell you. Will try my best though.[:)]

Sounds like a great evening. I would love to make the next one! Do you normally take turns at each other houses? or does it sometimes take place at venues? Sounds like a fab oppptunity to meet and speak openly, will be nervous though meeting new people, but I am sure I would be made welcome[:D][:X] Hope to get to know some of you much better on here beforehand though x
The Christmas do will be at a hotel. Food and drink are free and we do try to get the cheapest rooms available at a decent place.
This summer one at my house was a first and Mel is already talking about coming here again next year.

I gather you have a fair size house Jan? I'd happlily host one here but after about 10 people had arrived it would feel like a concert at Wembley! I will look out for the details of the xmas one![:D]
