Good evening

My creditors meeting took place today at 10:00 am. I hadnt heard from cf all day so gave them a call to get an update.

I was told they were still waiting for some of the creditors to vote. 3 have already voted in favour but they will chase the remaining ones.

Is this normal practice? And can it takes up to another week?

To be honest, it is difficult to tell what is happening when CF are dealing. We see numerous instances where these delays are explained using various, sometimes conflicting reasons for the same instance. It also seems to be that this only happens regularly with CF cases. I suspect it has something to do with the unique ways they seem to approach things.

That all said, when they have done whatever they are doing, they do seem to usually turn things around and come up with the goods.

Thank you for the guidance.

I'm just need to start thinking ahead once and if CF accept my f&f offer.

My redundancy funds will be paid by my employers in April which I am using as f&f.

If I was to start job hunting now and got offered a role to start in May does that have any impact to my f&f iva. I just want to know if cf would still expect me to repay the remaining funds of my redundancy into the iva even if a f&f settlement has been approved.

Once the full and final has been accepted, your IVA is completed pending your completion letter (which can take up to six months) but I doubt CF would chase you for anything. You would not have to tell them if you had a new job.

Just received confirmation from CF my full and final offer has been accepted by my creditors which is a great relief and weight off my shoulders. I can now start to focus on my health and mental wellbeing and look forward to doing things that I couldn't before with my children.

CF wont get the funds til April as I'm.working a 3 month notice period so redundancy wont be paid til April which they are aware of and have all supporting letters from.my employers.

Thank you to everyone who has commented and support thos forum. I wont be coming off just yet as I will update on when I will receive my completion certificate and when they remove their registered interest from.the property register.

Good evening

I just wanted to share with you I have finally received my Completion certificate on 13th Oct. ( My offer was accepted in April 21 so it's taken 6 months) .

The delay was with Credit Fix (CF) was due to an over payment of Tax credit with HMRC in 2014/2015 a joint debt but they had also included my ex husband debt on there which I challenged and had it removed. I had to intervene and get in touch with HMRC because (CF) took ages in sorting out so I had sent a written complaint.

I now have written confirmation from HMRC I owe £0 debt and have a final report from CF confirming the HMRC debt is settled.

Cf have advised that I need to write to the credit agencies. They have listed 3 credit agencies but said I only need to write to one of them. Is that correct?

Also what do I need to include in the letter? Is it tbe final report and Certificate of Completion what am I asking then to do ? Is there a template letter that someone can help me with as I'm not sure what I need to say in the letter.

Thank you for the help guidance and support.

Well done on finally getting that formal completion done and dusted.

I don't know about writing to creditors --- when my IVA was finished ( 2014 ) it was all pretty much automatic and, as far as I am aware, hasn't changed. Have a read here: https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva- ... dit-record

Even if it were the case that you should contact the agencies yourself, you would need to contact all three individually.

So glad you have come to the end. I've never known anyone having to contact creditors/credit agency themselves. Mine was done automatically by Payplan. Be interesting to see if any other people who have completed with CF recently to find out what they had to do.

I wanted to make sure what they were paying off was correct. I felt their closure team didnt know what the were doing I had to provide them details where to write to? And who to contact and contact numbers.

The front end team at creditfix have been brilliant.

Glad its over.

Good luck to all of you who have entered into an iva or mid way or almost at the end... there is light at the end of the tunnel, it may not seem it at the moment but you will all get there.
