I wish to pay my Iva off early, a friend has offered me some money to do this but I have a joint mortgage with my estranged husband, would this be a issue

The joint mortgage won't be a problem, just speak to your IP and tell them you wish to make a full and final offer.How long have you been in your IVA and how much do you still owe on it.

Assuming that you are likely to have more than £5k in your share of equity, when the time comes, you will need to factor in an extra 12 months payments into your offer.
