I just wana say a Massive thank U to lesley - Im sorry Ive not managed to send a little thank you, as normal things turned upside down as they do for me! But {{{{{hugs again!}}}}}

I dont know how Im going to get through the next 6 weeks [:D] but I am pleased to say, due to help off the MIL, our dining suit is on its way next week![:)] No more sitting on plastic table n chairs[:I] as we have done for the past 18 months!
Finally came into stock in argos 1/2 price(500 down - 250) n had 110 in shopping monitor vouchers n MIL helped with some of the rest[:)]
So we will be will be having lots of family dinners at home for the summer [:)] As long as they bring their own beverages![:D] and I have the grub in! But everyone always seems to chip in.[:)]
Lets just hope me n the hubby can assemble it all properly![:I][:D]

Love to all xxxx

Hi all!
Just dropping in n checking on you all n reading some posts but still little time to comment.
Isn't this weather just rubbish! Im starting to think we've had our summer!
We are super pleased with our table n chairs n its so nice to sit at a table for meals! Even the boys are loving it & really looking forward to having grandparents over for dinner instead of doing "meals on heels" or going to nanni's house!
Hubby is not so well, spending 6 months doing weekly visits to hospital for treatment, they recently dropped to every 2 weeks. And he is not coping, his imunity & energy levels have dropped through the floor, n ended up with full blown flu n bed bound, right on his summer week holiday.
Im shattered! n did all the assembling of the table n chairs on my own in 2 hours! & also put up a 10ft trampoline for my friend whom is still getting over the death of her hubby. My arms have been aching like mad for 2 days! I can barely pull up my own pants without wincing! Must plodd on though - nice hot bath tonight I think!
Hope your all well n Im sorry I wont be around that much - love to all xxxx

You've been busy Lyns, I hope your hubby feels much better very soon. Take it easy and remember you need some Lyns time to recharge your batteries. x

Thanks Lesley - hubby being reviewed in 2 weeks so will probably drop back to weekly appointments.
I know Ive run myself out again - but the pleasure I give to others n the thanks I get makes it worth while.
It was a really strange that I decided to turn up at my friends house, her dad of over 80 was trying to put up the trampoline n had spent hours on it. I took one look at it n knew it was very wrong n had to re do it all. I had to call into my friends kitchen for a drink cos I was really puffed out, n looked at a picture of her hubby n it just made me get it done.
The message I got from her after I left made me cry - but its so worth it to give to others.

Bless ya you're a giving person.

I was in tears this evening in the supermarket, my granddaughter who comes to mine all the time doesn't see her Daddy through the choice of her Mummy and I don't agree with it at all but stay out of it, she ran up to them they all hugged it was a real Cilla moment... me and H were in bits.

Tonight in the supermarket we saw Daddy and new partner and granddaughter

Always have been Lesley - dont know why Im made that way, but my parents have always said Ive never asked for anything.

I bet you were in pieces hun, I would be n its something I would not agree with unless there where other things going on. My hubby n his brother have not seen their dad since they were little, my MIL took our eldest back to their hometown to visit family n bumped into him n said this is your grandchild - whom was n still is the spit of my hubby n him - no interest. Hubby has an horrendous time without a dad n know looks upon mine as his own n has little interest in his.
Its hard isn't it - watching n not been able to do anything about it x thinking of u hun x

I'm talking to her now on FB but she won't relent, I'm trying my best to be peacemaker as this girl needs her Dad but she's as stubborn as her Mother x

Its incredibly hard to watch happen n see the pain, but as long as you are watching n remembering everything n both parties are trying there will be a day where they will meet n say "what happened" & you will be able to fill in the pieces that make it all fit together & they will remember.
The memory of today/tonight will last & questions will be asked later by both parties, they wont forget, trust me x

Great to hear from you Lyns [:)] My you've been busy!! I could do with you coming around here and putting up a chest of drawers we bought months ago - me and hubby are useless [:D]

Seriously though, you do need to look after yourself Lyns. You're a very kind, giving person but your batteries need recharging too hun.

Hope hubby gets better soon xx

Aww Lesley, that must have been quite a moment! My eldest granddaughter doesn't see her Dad and I'm so glad she doesn't, as her safety would be in jeopardy. I'd move heaven & earth to make sure he doesn't get near her. She does have a great relationship with her paternal grandparents and has a fab step dad too.

I hope your daughter sees sense and your little one doesn't resent her Mum later in life. I know you'll do your best for your little one xx

Hi all! Well Ive had a go at updating my blogg seems to be taking me forever to get through our story! But I enjoyed waffling on it!
This holiday is becoming really difficult with the horrid weather n waiting for pay day.
I was completely stressed out yesterday n took the boys to the local shops n bumped into one of best friends n her hubby.
Her hubby runs a soccer school in the area n asked if I had "MEtoo" vouchers? These MEtoo vouchers enable people on certain benefits n low incomes to be able to get activities for the children for free. Im not eligible as normal!
But bless my friend n her hubby, got a phone call in the evening n he has offered my a 1/2 price deal for them to go for a week (5 days 9am-3pm)! Works out at less than a fiver a day each with the 5th day free! Fantastic n so grateful as they will really enjoy it! Its coming out of my food budget but im not bothered as it will be brilliant for my 2 little monkeys n to be honest probably cheaper than them being at home! but could not afford it without the discount.
So you will probably see abit more of me that week! Hope your all well peeps x
