I've completed my 5 years of payments but had the clause to release equity or 7,500 into my agreement at the end. I was unable to remortgage as my property is shared ownership but i had 30,000 equity,
But on friday my creditors voted in favour of just an extra 12 months payments and to remove the equity clause so now i only have to pay another 3,500 and it's all finally over!

Fantastic bit of news and gives hope to anyone else in a similar situation. Saves on a costly remortgage too!!!

Great news, you're on the downward slope now.
