I currently pay £308 a month toward my IVA. My yearly review was September 2018 at a time when gyms weren’t open so I didn’t have a gym membership.

Now gyms are reopening I would like to join the gym for £26 a month to help my physical and mental well-being.

Would this have to come out of my £40 hobby allowance? Or can I ask my IP to include this in my expenditure list

I added a gym membership about a year into my IVA, it was accepted as an additional expenditure.

Thanks!
Also no idea why I said 2018, I meant 2020!

Some IPs will accept it, some won't --- you just have to try it and see.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
