Can't help with tips for Slimming World, but good luck with the weight loss!

Hi, glad you're enjoying married life. I am a member of slimming world and only recently joined I've lost half a stone so it's a slow process but I'll get there hopefully.

Looking forward to seeing a slimmer you Lesley!

I'm afraid I had to resort to drastic measures for my weight loss, so possibly not the best person to advise![:)]

Slow is not a bad thing carole as it tends to stay off. My problem is I expect too much too quickly.

Its good to here of newlyweds getting on lol unlike my own rather poor experience of it haha.

I too am eating healthier to try to lose about a stone (off my gut, girlfriends orders [:D])

I've never embarked on a weight loss programme myself but did once lost 3.5 stone (14 stone to 10.5 stone) in 12 months and that is when I went veggie [:)]

So far I've lost half a stone in a month or so just by cutting out meat from breakfast and lunch and having a veggie meal every other night for tea. It also helps that I am running and walking 8 miles a day to and from work I guess lol.

Hi All Weight Watchers, SLimming Worlders and all other dieters!!

I have done WW for years on and off and I always manage to lose about 2 stone and then get disheartened and put it all back on, and more then re-join and go through the whole thing again!! Why, oh why do we torture ourselves eh?!

Anyway, decided brand new surname, and life therefore brand new diet...and I had my first weigh-in after week one last night and lost 4lb...and, can honestly say I don't feel like I've been deprived of anything!! So far, so good...

Helen, Lesley - I'm exactly like you - in my head that 4lb should have been 4 stone hahaha!! But slow is better I think and I know it could only be a small weight loss each week onwards but wouldnt it be nice if all weeks were like that first week eh?!!

Anyway good luck all with their weightloss journeys and lets spurr each other on eh!! xxx

I did really well on SW when I first did it but I haven't been able to get into it again.

I love the Peter Kay SW sketch, it's so true!
