Hi,
Can you please help us?
We have been in our IVA since oct 2009, My husband has been working overtime but we did not realise he had to hand some over on a monthly basis, we thought it was dealt with at our annual review. Will our IP now start bankruptcy proceedings against us when they find out?. We have saved some of the surplus income in case of emergency.
An IVA is a long hard road but valuable lessons have been learnt along the way. Now looking forward to enjoying a debt free future!

Hi Ruby, I would contact your IP and discuss this directly. I pay any over on a three monthly basis (not that I've had to in a while). I would doubt your IVA will fail because of this and urge you to contact them tomorrow to have a chat. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Excellent advice from Lesley.

It really does depend upon the individual circumstances of your case, and what your propsosal dictates in terms of the timing that these payments need to be handed over. As the others have said the safest way to get answers to your specific query is via your own IP - but if you are required to pay over the money monthly or quarterly, I would really try and stick to this moving forward.
