Hi Bevan and welcome to the Forum.
You could seek insolvency advice in New Zealand or the UK. There are various procedures in New Zealand for dealing with debt depending on the level and your personal assets. The New Zealand government has an insolvency website which would give you plenty of advice but you can also contact an IP here in the UK for advice.

Hello bevan.kn,

If you decided that insolvency was either not necessary or not desirable for you another option would be a debt management plan.

It is possible to operate a debt management plan on UK debt from overseas.
