Hi Julie, its a little strange not having to make the payment every month after being used to paying it out for 5 years. I always seem to find something to spend it on though money just seems to go no where these days everything is so expensive nowadays x
Definitely a holiday for us as well - that's some years away yet though!

I would love a holiday and a new car but these can wait, I'm doing my best now to get debt free but I do find myself dreaming some days about which holiday and which car x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
I know exactly where we are going, and we're fortunate (or not, depedent on how you look at it!) that we can get a motability car and so renew it every three years.
No holiday until at least 2014 though.

Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know how I got on today. Unfortunately I completely had my figures wrong and there will be nothing left over after the claims are paid.
3 of the creditors hadnt claimed but actually had more than 1 claim against me for example Max recovery had 10 claims (they must have bought the majority of my debt) and have claimed 9 of them. When I was first told they had been excluded I assumed that they hadnt claimed any of them not just one.....my mistake but never mind at least my certificate should be through in a couple of weeks
