Hey Kallis3, I doubt I will.....My guts feel like I'm about to perform on the main stage at Glastenbury at the moment. TBH, been the same for the last 6 months or so. Found out that my employer have a clause in my contract that ,eans if I do an IVA, DMP, BR or any such like, they will almost certainly imprison me in a chest of drawers. That or dismiss me.
Gotta try and amuse myself to keep my pecker up....
Gonna have a large coffee and plant myself in the garden for a bit. Wife says she will water me when required
Probably not going to tell them, depends on whether I can live with this feeling for the short term until the debt is sorted one way or another. If I tell them, they know and might enforce something, if I leave it to chance, then they may never know, or may find out at any day.
Might get my CV updated in preperation. That said, it's a small-ish firm and the people in HR\Finance like me....Weirdo's :p
Your employer won't be told, so it's up to you whether you inform them or not. There is no reason why they would find out.
I'm sure you're a very nice person which is why they like you![:D]

We all go through those phases, even those of us already in an IVA.
As to BR, unless it was near the end of the tax year, you would go onto a nil tax code so your wages department would be aware of that. You have to pay your tax for the remainder of the financial year to the Official Receiver and then it goes back to normal.

Having spoken at length with Marcus I can vouch that he comes across as a very nice person so I would imagine his employers would not wish to part company with him He's got a good sense of humour too and as we all know, that is priceless with the amount of stress we all find ourselves in todays world!
As Marcus and I discussed it is up to him whether he chooses to brief his employer or not but he does leave the risk open should the employers choose to take action based on the contractual clause, for whatever reason. If its a small company and he is favoured by his employer then it should not be an issue. As with everyone, being in an IVA does not automatically mean someone cannot continue to be great at their job so it should be irrelevant, especially if they are not anything to do with company finances.
Anyway, I ramble. This forum is great for support - you've found some great virtual buddies on here Marcus as well as a fantastic IP to look after you.
Hope you put suncream on as you really will be down in the dumps with sunburn!
