I was in an IVA in 2008 & settled the same year. I am now looking to get a mortgage and the IVA is no longer on my credit file, but can underwriters find out from linked address history. There wasn’t a question about entering into an agreement only bankruptcy.

I am sure some lenders have archived records if theIVA impacted any of their trading group. But, in any case, I would suggest a word with Ryan and / or Shaun, who are both whole of market brokers with experience in adverse credit and bot have helped many forum members with advice and mortgages.

My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
